We work according to the principles of the circular and short circuit economy with the aim of limiting our environmental impact as much as possible.
We entrust the manufacture of our objects to Parisian craftsman from start to finish, thus perpetuating an age-old profession with its wealth of tradition. We advocate traditional methods, sustainable consumption and production, and remuneration in line with geographical location.
1/3 of our annual budget is allocated to the remuneration of craftsmen, 1/3 to the purchase of materials (leather and sometimes jewelry), 1/3 is for product design development, communications, marketing and business operating costs.
Who are our suppliers?
All of our suppliers are from Paris, whether it be for leather, jewelry, packaging, tools or other supplies. We meet them all regularly.
Where do they buy their supplies?
Calfskin, lamb and goat leather are sourced in France or other European countries.
Exotic leathers come from the United States, Africa or Asia.
French tanneries are subject to environmental law.
European tanneries must comply with European environmental regulations (REACH), guaranteeing health and environmental standards against the risks from chemical substances.
All the leathers come from renowned tanneries belonging either entirely or partially to the 3 major French luxury sector groups and which therefore apply the same high standards in terms of working conditions, compliance with environmental standards and product quality.
How do we trace the origin of exotic skins?
The purchase of exotic leather is regulated by the Washington Convention, thus preventing the widespread illegal trade in endangered species and combatting poaching.
A CITES sheet (Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species) is issued for all exotic products (skins, leather and finished products) from start to finish and thereby guarantees their origin.
